The Office of the Commissioner of Financial Regulation, established in 1910, is Maryland's consumer financial protection agency and financial services regulator. The Office's mission is to protect Marylanders through the operation of a modern financial regulatory system that promotes respect for consumers, safety and compliance, fair competition, responsible business innovation, and a strong state economy.
IN-PERSON MEETINGS AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT
The Maryland Department of Labor is now offering in-person services by appointment only. To quickly and easily schedule an appointment online, please visit the Central Scheduling System. Appointments with the Office of the Commissioner of Financial Regulation are available for in-person discussions on a number of topics including: consumer complaints, enforcement matters, assistance with licensing applications, bank/credit union/trust company corporate applications and regulatory matters, and meetings with Financial Regulation staff. Please arrive at our building (500 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore) 10 minutes early with your identification in hand. You will be met at the security guard desk and escorted to your meeting by a member of our staff.
