Application process

1. Before an online application will be processed, both sponsor and apprentice must complete and submit the Apprenticeship Form.
2. Apprentice must Apply online for a permit to practice. Once the board receives the notification of your apprentice sponsorship form completion, rather than attending an in-person orientation, you will receive a PowerPoint that will allow you to have self-paced training. If approved, the apprentice will receive their license via mail and email, allowing them to start the apprenticeship program. All fees are nonrefundable.

3. The Sponsor is responsible for submitting the Apprentice monthly report labeled Sponsor Certification for Apprentice Training. 
4. Note: Sponsors are required to resubmit their information every 5 years.
