The Joint Committee on Administrative, Executive, and Legislative Review has granted emergency status to amendments to Regulation .08 under COMAR 09.10.03 Prohibited Acts.

Emergency status began: July 31, 2020.
Emergency status expires: January 26, 2021.

The emergency action has minimal or no economic impact on small businesses.

  A. The administration of Lasix to a horse is permissible, except as set forth in §A-1 of this regulation, if:
    (1)—(3) (text unchanged).
  A-1. No 2-year-old thoroughbred horse shall be administered Lasix (furosemide) within 48 hours of the post time at which it is scheduled to run.
